Travelife Sustainability Certificate

We are proud to have been awarded the Travelife certification at the end of 2022, which is a certification body for tourist accommodations, with requirements covering the three main areas where the accommodation sector has the greatest impact.

ENVIRONMENT

Establishments must monitor and minimize their environmental impact in the areas of energy, water, waste, wastewater, hazardous substances, and biodiversity. Starting from mid-2023, all properties certified by Travelife must measure their greenhouse gas emissions from energy, water, and waste.

PEOPLE

Accommodations certified by Travelife must comply with all labor standards and treat their staff fairly. They must also actively demonstrate that they protect and respect human rights, training all their staff on how to identify and report signs of exploitation and child abuse.

COMMUNITIES

Travelife-certified establishments must be proactive in supporting the local community. This includes providing guests with information on respecting the local way of life, ensuring they do not hinder the community's access to essential resources and services, and supporting a local charity or community improvement initiative.
