The best sunsets on Mallorca

It's still March, it's cold and there's a downpour outside, but we at Prinsotel are already thinking about summer ... That's why we decided to capture your imagination and take you with us to our island, our favorite corners, those which give us the best memories from our holidays. There where the best sunsets of Mallorca are hidden. You ready?

Mirador de Ses Animes.- Although the one of Sa Foradada is certainly the most famous, the one at Ses Animes is just as pretty if not more but being less known it is much quieter. Here you can enjoy the sunset without crowds, with the calm that the wonderful moment of the day deserves ... When the night is about to start in Mallorca. It is located very close to Sa Foradada, in the Serra de Tramuntana, between Estellencs and Banyalbufar, under the famous Torre des Verger.

The Costa de la Calma.- On the west coast of Mallorca there is a small place that usually escapes the radars of the masses of tourists and seems to be preserved only for locals and frequent visitors to this area. Following a narrow dirt path bordering the coast, where Cala Blanca is located, but keep going to the right, you will find a beach bar (a booth with bar) on the rocks in front of which hammocks and umbrellas extend to the seashore. Sitting at one of their tables or on their sun loungers, ordering something and making a toast while the sun goes down is an unforgettable experience. A pure Mediterranean experience.

Es Trenc.- Yes, the large Caribbean beach of Mallorca offers one of the best sunsets on the island (and one of the most intense and prolonged because of its location). It is true that it is getting more and more crowded ... But it is still the most spectacular beach that one can enjoy in the Mediterranean. Luckily,it’s natural environment is preserved, its dunes, its vegetation and its fine white sand. And posidonian algae do their job perfectly to keep the waters clean and crystal clear.

Cala Blava.- This is one of the coves closest to the city of Palma and one of which offers a more local and family atmosphere. It is a not very big, urban cove surrounded by houses and chalets- but it has very clean and transparent waters. Surrounding it there are small rocky coves with direct access to the sea (without sand) ideal to take a last dip before heading to the airport, which is only a 15 minute drive from this area. The sunset from here is the best along the whole bay of Palma since in summer it coincides that the sun sets behind the mountains of the Tramuntana that these coves are just opposite.

The coolest side of Mallorca. Your Prinsotel side ;)
