Summer street markets in the north of Majorca

Majorca has a long history of fairs and markets. They're held throughout the year, on every day of the week and in different parts of the island. While enjoying a holiday in northern Majorca, you can discover some real gems hidden among the dozens of market stalls running the length of the narrow streets and town squares in Alcudia, Can Picafort, Cala Ratjada, Capdepera, Artà, Maria de la Salut, Muro, Sineu or Pollença.

Majorca's street markets are famous for their range of goods on offer, with lots of local crafts and food products made using traditional recipes.

Alcudia street market is one of the most famous in the north of Majorca, thanks to its wonderful setting in the walled town, the charming streets filled with colour and a fantastic atmosphere, and the variety of produce. Alcudia market is held on Tuesdays and Sundays.

The traditional street markets in Muro and Pollença are also held on Sundays. Pollença market is known for the beautiful flower stalls that decorate the centre of the village, turning it into something special.

Artà street market is every Tuesday and is another of the best markets in the north and north-east of Majorca. Arts and crafts have a strong presence on almost all the stalls and the village is one of the most beautiful in the area.

From Tuesday to Sunday, there's one or more street markets every day to choose from all along the north coast.
