Cala Gran, Cala d'Or (Santanyí)

A sandy and rocky beach which is surrounded by a pine forest which provides plenty of shade to relax under during the hot summer evenings, while you listen to the gentle lapping of the water.

Cala Gran is a Blue Flag beach, which is an annual award given to those beaches that meet certain conditions including water quality, environmental, safety and services. Prinsotel Alba Hotel & Apartments is located just 100 metres from this beautiful beach.

Son Moll (Cala Ratjada)

A beach with fine sand, which also boasts a Blue Flag award. Son Moll is located in the northeast of the island of Mallorca in Cala Ratjada. It is an ideal beach thanks to its fine sand and the wonderful gastronomic variety found in the area, where restaurants also offer a children's menu. The parking in the area is free, although public transport is a good alternative, since the stop is just 50 metres from the beach. If you find yourself staying at the Prinsotel La Pineda Hotel & Apartments we recommend you enjoy the beautiful long walk along the beach.

Playa de Muro (Muro)

Without a doubt it is a perfect beach for the whole family. This beach located to the north of Mallorca and has more than 5 km of fine sand and turquoise blue water. It also boasts a Blue Flag rating. This beach is divided into 3 areas, the closest area to Alcúdia (west), is the area that has the most services, such as hammocks, umbrellas, bathrooms, restaurants, lifeguard services, access for the disabled.

In the middle of Playa de Muro is where Prinsotel La Dorada Hotels & Apartments, also known as Es Branc, is located. This quieter area is where one can find the s'Oberta breakwater.

The eastern zone, is the most unspoilt along the Playa de Muro, known as Es Comu, although it is a less accessible area and might not meet all the needs of the whole family. With stunning scenery, wildlife, vegetation and crystal clear waters it is definitely worth visiting Playa de Muro. It also belongs to the Natural Park of s'Albufera, considered a Natural Area of Special Interest.

Playa de Alcúdia (Port of Alcúdia)

A continuation of Playa de Muro. Playa de Alcúdia is also a beach with fine white sand. It is an ideal beach for children to play safely on the shore. Prinsotel Mal Pas Hotel is located very close to Alcúdia beach, just 5 minutes by car.

Playa del Dolç (Colonia de Sant Jordi)

The Playa del Dolç is very family friendly, with parking for those who have decided to rent a car. The village of Colonia de Sant Jordi is located just 300 metres from the beach, easily accessible by the promenade that connects the beach with the town centre. This beach is a family favourite: its fine sand and transparent waters are perfect for parents and children to enjoy together. In addition, it has incredible views of the island of Cabrera, which was named a National Park.

Enjoying an unforgettable beach with your family is priceless and will definietly become one of the best memories from your holidays.
