Beach holidays in Mallorca.
From March to October, it's essential to make the most of Mallorca's many beaches.
Even in winter, they're perfect for walking along, taking in some sun
or doing sport, but it's during the summer when they're at their finest.
With more than 100 beaches and coves to choose from, here's our pick of the best beaches in Mallorca.
Arenal:
Millions of tourists every year are drawn to Arenal with its fantastic
5km-long beach. This Palma beach is busy, full of Germans drinking beer
in the summer, but it's also peaceful, great for sports and it gets a
midday breeze that makes it especially pleasant on the hottest days.
Cala Agulla:
Views of the open sea, crystal-clear waters, an occasional swell...
Cala Agulla is popular with Mallorca's surfing community because of its
great conditions and chilled-out atmosphere.
Cala Banyalbufar:
A steep descent gives way to an amazing view of Banyalbufar, with the
Mediterranean lapping at the rocks of this beautiful cove. The perfect
beach for relaxing.
Cala Deià:
The majestic village of Deià enjoys phenomenal views of Mallorca's
north coast. Deià bay sits at the foot of a beautiful mountain, creating
a wonderful little corner of nature to enjoy.
Cala Mondragó:
It goes without saying that the bay at Mondragó Park is as wonderful as
its other natural attractions. Cala Mondragó is divided into two
separate coves that face each other, linked by a woodland footpath that
runs through a lovely pine forest.
El Mago:
Fine, white sand, pine woodland and a wonderful ambience make El Mago
cove an experience that's a million miles away from the mundane
day-to-day routine. In summer, El Mago is the setting for all-night
parties that last until dawn.
Es Trenc:
The last great, untouched sand beach in Mallorca. In April and May,
it's a truly unbeatable seaside destination with postcard-perfect fine,
white sands. Es Trenc's 3km-long beach has beautiful, crystal-clear
waters, whose charm continues in Ses Covetes.
Formentor:
A tree-lined beach whose shoreline is kissed by gentle Mediterranean
waves and which retains to this day a magical sense of history, captured
in the Formentor Hotel. An excellent 21st-century beach with a sense of
a bygone era.
Sa Calobra:
Sa Calobra's idyllic location isn't part of just any old landscape. As
well as being the setting for TV adverts, Sa Calobra stands out because
of the beauty of its magnificent surroundings and their great scenic
value.
Mallorca's beaches are irresistible. Enjoy them with Prinsotel. Get to know: Hotel Prinsotel La Pineda in Cala Ratjada, Hotel Prinsotel Alba in Cala d'Or and Hotel Prinsotel Mal Pas in Alcudia.
