Cala Agulla holds its V triathlon13/06/2013
They are strong, tough, tireless and practice one of the world's most demanding sports: triathlon. Their challenge is to resist an intense event that combines swimming, cycling and running and get there first. Their goal, this time, is Cala Agulla, a Majorcan village that holds during these days the third edition of its triathlon.
The event will be held on Sunday 25th of August and will bring together before a landscape of pine trees and turquoise waters, the most prominent athletes of this sport, that only in Spain, counts with more than 20,000 members.
Participants in the Cala Agulla triathlon will have to swim a distance of 750 meters, cover 10 km on bike and run another 4 Km.
The toughness of this sport requires those who practise it that, even during holidays, they keep their body fit, with a strict workout and exercise planning.
Therefore, at Prinsotel we offer our guests a wide range of areas and sports facilities that allow to carry out a thorough training during their stay in Majorca: swimming pool, cycling equipment, tennis and paddle courts, gym machines and spa with sauna.
In addition, at Prinsotel we offer our guests the opportunity to choose their own food menu, tailored to the demands of sport, and enjoy the tranquility of resting beside the Mediterranean.
Get in shape during the holidays at the Prinsotel La Pineda Hotel and encourage yourself to participate in this summer’s III edition of the Cala Agulla triathlon.
May the best one win!
