The magic of Cala Santandría
27/09/2011To travel to Menorca is
to experience history, tradition and culture together with pristine,
clean and vivid nature. Wonderful places that have hardly ever been
visited before are hidden all over the island, surrounded by beaches
with clean sand and clear waters.
One of these spots is Cala Santandría, a narrow inlet very near Ciudadela, where you will encounter all the magic the Mediterranean has to offer.
Cala Santandría
is a beach with fine, white sand surrounded by nature, sprinkled with
Mediterranean pine trees, cliffs bordering on the sea and calm, turquoise waters. Located to the west of Menorca it also offers splendid sunsets, filled with light and serenity.
The Hotel Prinsotel La Caleta
overlooks one side of the beach. It is accommodation made to lose
yourself in, forget about everything and travel years back in time when
everything followed the rhythm of nature: well-kempt gardens, bright
white walls, big pools and terraces…
The views from Hotel Prinsotel La Caleta run from Caleta d’en Gorries to Cala Blanca, a stretch of sea where you can find prehistoric caves as well as traditional fishing boats that make sure fresh fish is delivered daily to the market place.
Also, the Hotel Prinsotel La Caleta
is located only 4 kilometres from Ciudadela. Ciudadela is a fisherman’s
village, made up of small white houses and intertwined streets, steeped
in tradition. Comfortable with its long history, Ciudadela combines its
old-fashioned look with the friendliness of its people, a deep-rooted
culture and a delicate Mediterranean atmosphere.
Discover Menorca with Prinsotel. Relax. Enjoy.
